Somatic & Holistic Psychotherapy for Millennial Women of Color.
Hi, friend! I’m Erica—a culturally rooted somatic therapist and certified trauma professional. I support millennial women of color — especially professionals and mothers — whose bodies and minds carry stress, tension, and emotional overwhelm that talk therapy alone never fully relieved.

Does this resonate?
If life has been feeling heavy, disorienting, or internally unsettled, you’re not imagining it.
Many of the women I work with are millennial women of color professionals and mothers, who are responsible, capable, and emotionally aware, yet experience an ongoing internal battle.
A sense of fragmentation.
Mental clarity paired with bodily tension.
A feeling of being present, but not fully at ease within yourself.
You may notice constant second-guessing, exhaustion from holding it all together, or thoughts like “I don’t belong here” or “I’ve lost the version of myself I used to recognize.”
This isn’t weakness. It’s often the result of trauma, chronic stress, identity shifts, and motherhood interacting over time.
Through trauma-informed, somatic psychotherapy, we work with both your mind and your body to restore internal steadiness at a pace that respects your lived experience.
You’re not broken.
You’re carrying more than your share.
And you don’t have to carry it alone.
Hey, I’m erica!
I got you.
Hi, friend! I’m Erica—a culturally grounded Black woman therapist with specialized training in trauma and somatic psychotherapy, guiding women toward a deeper sense of internal safety and self-connection in Davie, FL. I specialize in supporting high-achieving Millennial Women of Color who carry the weight of emotional exhaustion, self-doubt, and relational trauma, often in silence.
Through holistic psychotherapy and somatic healing, I create a space where you can finally breathe, reconnect, and rise. You deserve a healing journey that’s as powerful, resilient, and authentic as you are.
Something needs to change.
You’ve survived more than most people will ever know.
But survival isn’t the same as living.
It’s time to stop carrying old wounds into new days.
It’s time to let go of the pressure to be perfect, the fear of asking for more, and the silence that keeps you feeling stuck.
Real healing starts when you say, “I deserve more than this.”
And you do.
If this feels familiar, begin with a free consultation — you don’t have to navigate this alone.
Let's do this
Let's do this
When talk therapy isn’t enough
Nervous system dysregulation & chronic stress
Incomplete healing from traditional talk therapy
Overwhelm, burnout, and internal conflict
You may understand your patterns, triggers, and history, and yet still feel overwhelmed, shut down, or stuck in cycles your mind can’t reason its way out of.
Somatic psychotherapy supports individuals whose nervous system needs care before deeper processing can happen. This work is especially helpful if traditional talk therapy has felt activating, exhausting, or incomplete.
While my primary focus is supporting Millennial Women of Color who are beginning to prioritize their mental and emotional well-being, my practice also serves teens, adults, and older adults seeking somatic, trauma-informed psychotherapy.
Many of the individuals I work with are navigating anxiety, trauma responses, cultural stressors, and long-standing patterns shaped by both personal and collective experiences. My approach is grounded in nervous system regulation, cultural responsiveness, and mind–body healing.

A Mind-Body Approach to Healing
Many therapeutic approaches focus on insight and behavior change. While valuable, these approaches don’t always address how stress and trauma live in the body.
My work integrates somatic (body-based) psychotherapy with evidence-informed modalities to help clients:
regulate the nervous system
increase emotional and physiological capacity
widen the window of tolerance
experience safety in their body again
This approach often complements CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused therapies and is commonly used to prepare clients for deeper trauma work, including EMDR.
Rediscover the peace you’ve been missing.
