Meet Erica, lmhc

You’re a whole person with a whole story, and I honor every part of it.

I’m a Florida-based therapist specializing in helping high-achieving Millennial Women of Color heal from emotional exhaustion, self-doubt, and relationship wounds.

I want you to truly hear this:

I see you because I’ve walked a similar path.

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that you were never broken.

As a Millennial Afro-Caribbean woman, a mother, a wife, and a former HR executive, I know what it’s like to move through spaces that weren’t made with you in mind. I’ve carried the weight of perfectionism, self-doubt, and wounds that were never given a name—until I chose to name them for myself.

You don’t have to prove your strength here. In our work together, you’ll find a space where your story is honored, your emotions are safe, and your healing is never rushed. My approach is compassionate but active. We walk toward your growth together, one step at a time.

I blend mind-body techniques, somatic psychotherapy, and traditional talk therapy to help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been silenced or forgotten. Healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you were created to be.

How I work

Central to my therapeutic approach is the belief that healing happens when you feel seen, safe, and supported without judgment.

I don't believe in rushing your story, minimizing your experiences, or offering one-size-fits-all advice. In our sessions, you’ll find a balance of compassion and gentle challenge. I will meet you where you are—with your hopes, your fears, your frustrations—and walk alongside you as you reconnect with your authentic self.

We’ll move at a pace that honors your nervous system, your story, and your goals.

I integrate mind-body practices, somatic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) to support you as a whole person—not just your symptoms. Every session is a space where your voice matters, your healing is honored, and your growth is celebrated.

Therapy with me is…

Honest

I believe in compassionate truth-telling. I’ll gently but clearly reflect patterns that may be holding you back, always in service of your growth.

compassionate

You’ll be met with warmth, understanding, and care—no judgment, no rushing, and no pressure to be anything other than your real self.

culturally inclusive

Your identity, background, and story matter here. This is a space where you don't have to explain yourself—you get to simply be yourself.

Individualized

No two healing journeys are the same. Together, we’ll create a plan that honors your unique needs, your pace, and your lived experience.
