Referral Pathways
Ways we can work together
01 client-initiated consultation [preferred]
Clients may schedule a secure consultation using the booking links below. This streamlined process allows us to connect promptly and determine clinical fit.
02 provider coordination consultation
For warm handoffs or brief care coordination, referring providers may schedule a 10–minute “Provider Referral Consultation”. This call is intended for professional collaboration and does not establish a therapeutic relationship.
Referral guidelines…
Confirm that the client has provided consent for their contact information to be shared.
Do not include diagnostic details or protected health information in the booking message.
Submission of a referral does not guarantee acceptance into services. Clinical appropriateness and availability will be assessed during consultation.
This portal is not monitored for emergencies. In crisis situations, direct the client to call 988 or local emergency services.

When a Referral May Be Helpful
And When Another Level of Care May Be Needed
When Might a Referral Be Helpful?
Providers often refer when patients:
Continue experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or burnout despite medical treatment
Present with chronic stress symptoms such as sleep disruption, muscle tension, fatigue, or difficulty concentrating
Have a trauma history that continues to affect relationships, emotional regulation, or daily functioning
Prefer a mind–body approach to therapy, particularly when traditional talk therapy alone has not fully addressed nervous system stress responses
Are high-performing professionals who appear outwardly stable but internally carry significant stress, pressure, or unresolved emotional experiences
Would benefit from therapy that integrates evidence-based psychotherapy with nervous system regulation and somatic approaches
When Human Freely Psychotherapy and Wellness May Not Be the Best Fit
Human Freely Psychotherapy and Wellness is an outpatient psychotherapy practice for adults. Referring providers may wish to consider alternative services when patients require care outside the scope of outpatient therapy.
Providers may consider other resources when patients:
Require a higher level of care, such as inpatient psychiatric treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), or residential treatment
Are experiencing active suicidal intent, recent suicide attempts, or immediate safety concerns requiring crisis stabilization or emergency services
Need structured substance use treatment, detoxification services, or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs
Are children or adolescents, as the practice currently focuses on adult clients
Require court-ordered evaluations, forensic assessments, or legal testimony
Are seeking psychiatric medication management only, without psychotherapy
Are pursuing psychedelic-assisted therapy, ketamine treatment, or microdosing protocols
Are not open to engaging in psychotherapy or reflective therapeutic work
